Here is what S. Renee Pringle of New Philadelphia has to say about Richard Renner:

I think Richard Renner will bring something to the position of Juvenile Court/Probate Judge that is desperately needed. I have personal experience with Linda Kate and feel that it is time for a change. Linda Kate's method of lashing out at parents right in front of the child in her court room is not constructive or helpful. It undermines the parent's authority with the child and relieves them of taking responsibility for their own actions.

We as voters need to stand up and say enough is enough. It is true that families of juvenile offenders DO need some type of help at times. Most parents are very distressed and overwhelmed when things go wrong with their child and desperately want to find a solution to the problem. Linda Kate has not been part of the solution. She has been part of the problem. I believe Richard Renner is the solution that we need in Tuscarawas county.

Welcome to my web page

As judge, I will give everyone a chance to be heard, decide cases based on the facts, and hold people properly accountable for their actions. That is why I am a candidate for the Democratic nomination to be the Probate and Juvenile Judge of Tuscarawas County. I want to be a judge who takes the time to listen to all interested parties, and get to the bottom of each case to make the decision that is right for that case.

I am disappointed by decisions that exclude grandparents from being parties, and deny them their day in court on their grandchildren's cases. When juveniles are in trouble, I want to stand before them so they are personally accountable to me for their conduct.

I will be mindful of the cost to the taxpayers, and consider the range of community services available to get families and youths on the right track. The January 14, 2008, decision of the Sixth Circuit federal court of appeals reminds us of the cost to the taxpayers from the error our court made in the Anthony Harris case. It is sad that our court could not reach the right decision at the beginning. It's time for a change.

I believe in fair decisions, equal justice and accountability. I ask for your vote in the Democratic Primary on March 4.
